We are PARAMEDICS!

Finally! After 7 torturous weeks! We have passed out! One sad thing in our course is that SSG Chor has OOC'ed. He never passed a single practical and even after Encik Anuar gave him a chance to take Final, he didn't do well enough. Sigh. Hope he makes it next time!

Got our grades today! I was very very surprised when our Best Trainee poked me and told me 'You're No. 2!"

"Huh?" was my response , thinkinmg he was talking about the No. 2 uniform.

He said I was 2nd in the course. WOW!! I have never been 2nd before!!
Though I am not the Best Trainee (I never thought that I would get anywhere near so didn't even try. Maybe I should have tried for it!) I am just plain happy that I got a 'A' grade! Damn lucky, The Finals can really pull someone's grades up or down.

I am only 1% away from Din (THE Best Trainee) hehe. I am happy enough.

Now..... on to Spec 1. No more SCDF. No more Gurkhas. Will miss them alot. They've been a fine group. Made our course so much more colourful :)

Did well for my Final theory!! I didn't manage to study for it AT ALL!! My goodness, I was so scared in the morning when I woke up! I meant to study for it a bit last night. Oh well. Hehe! Mum says she prayed for me to do well today. She said I didn't even bother to pray, I told her that I didn't pray all the time and I felt it inappropraite to start at such a time. Like making use of the deities...... Anyway thanks!!

My Final Practical was taken by none other than my Spec 2 CC, Encik Leong from Air Force. He was pretty impressed by my call (PHEW!!! You know how many times I copied the call on paper just before the practical???). I think I will get pretty good grades for this. This should make up for my Medical Practical and I should pass now.

STILL don't know whether I passed or failed that. Encik Anuar refused to tell me! Maybe I failed and he didn't want me to be affected for Finals.

Today's medical practical retest.....
Overall did ok. However, my casualty was allergic to 'some plants' and I did not remove him fast enough from the environment. Encik Anuar says that he doesn't know if he should pass me or fail me. He said that other than that and the fact that I let the drip run for a minute extra.... the rest of the call was ok.

Sigh.

P.S. I really forgot to remove the casualty (Even though I told myself to do that before starting the call). I only did that cos the casualty reminded me. Thanks man!!!

Today practised calls after a 2 weeks hiatus.

It's lousy.
I'll fail if I do this tomorrow in the Medical Practical retest.

Survived the Hospital attachment.

Wonderful thing about it was that we had more breaks. Felt so extra in the wards. This is compounded by the fact that there are NYP, ITE, Medical and other students in the ward at the same time. Sigh.

Bad dream is over. Now on back to SMM. Urrgh! I havn't studied for my Final Theory yet! I knew this would happen.

My god, it is UNBELIEVABLY BORING in AH!! We are like so extra there...
First hour in A&E and I am bored to pieces already. How to survive the rest of the days? Sigh.

Good thing the day ends at 1500h. I'll die if it were longer.

Ambulance attachment is fun. Haven't got any exciting calls though. The people at Station 32 are really nice and cool (save for one paramedic who is obviously stressed).

Looking forward to the attachment at AH. Though I think the A&E posting there might be a tad slow. Would have loved to go to TTSH A&E.
